Panama

Proud to partner with CALMS

The Central American Lutheran Mission Society equips congregations to send “global teams” on missionary exercises using the best mission practices available. Strategies employed may include: medical/dental/vision clinics, sports camps, building homes and other construction projects, teaching conversational English, Bible study, evangelism, intercessory prayer, house-to-house visitation, leadership training, or children/youth ministry.

We have traveled three times to Panama and can’t wait to head back in November 2024! A high school mission trip to Panama is also being planned for July 2025.

Milton Castillo - Missionary Team Leader

Milton has hosted scores of short term teams over the years. He has a wide range of interests and a special gift for helping teams synthesize new experiences as he introduces them to his beloved Panama.

Now he works in the Tierras Altas area in the province of Chiriquí to establish a permanent CALMS mission not only to serve through short-term groups but also in different physical and spiritual needs. Milton is a disciple of Christ. His spiritual gifts include faith, serving, and teaching.
