A Drive-Thru Live Nativity Experience

The Living Story is a drive-thru nativity experience with multiple stations, beautiful narration tracks, and live animals where the community can experience all the wonder and celebration of the birth of Jesus, without exiting their vehicle.

Our drive-thru live nativity attracts hundreds of individuals each year and we can’t wait to share the Christmas story with our community!

VOLUNTEER REGISTRATION

LIVING STORY VOLUNTEER REGISTRATION

Our registration is live! It takes about 100 volunteers each night to make The Living Story happen. We are pleased to offer free childcare for volunteer families on Friday, December 19!

As in years past, we have split each outdoor position into two shifts with a 1.5 hour time commitment (one hour outside in your position). NEW THIS YEAR: THE SOUP’S ON! We’re offering soup and snacks for volunteers from 4:30-7:30 each night. Warm up before or after your shift.

Here’s What You Should Know

  • The nativity is open from 5:00-7:00 pm each night.

  • Enter our parking lot from C Avenue.

  • You’ll stay in your vehicle the entire time.

  • Yes, we’ve got live animals!

  • This experience is our gift to you and donations are not expected. If you choose to make a donation at the end of the route, this year it will be directed to Central Furniture Rescue - a local community organization.

  • Bring a mobile device! We have narrations recorded and they’ll be available on our website for you to listen to as you drive through our parking lot.

  • Figure out where your parking lights are on your vehicle! We’ll ask you to turn those on when you get here so your headlights don’t blind our volunteers (or our animals!)

  • This is a free event for all.
