Since 1983, Bridgehaven has offered compassion, hope, and help in the circumstances before, during, and after pregnancy in the Cedar Rapids area. We serve both women and men and our services are always free and confidential.

Central Furniture Rescue
Central Furniture Rescue is a nonprofit that helps turn a new place to live into a home by collecting furniture and household items from the community. Then those items are provided to referred clients who are transitioning from homelessness into a new place to live.

Chains Interrupted is a group of people whose hearts have been broken by the evil of human trafficking. Sobering statistics show very few victims ever get out of “the life”. We focus on preventing human trafficking from ever happening.

Family Caregivers
The Family Caregivers Center is Eastern Iowa’s only comprehensive resource for family caregivers. Services – including support, education and social opportunities – are available at no cost for caregivers assisting adults living with chronic medical conditions (dementia, cancer, arthritis, Parkinson’s disease, diabetes, hearing conditions, etc.)

Gems of Hope/Cancer Support
Gems of Hope is a nonprofit offering support to local cancer patients receiving treatment. Gems of Hope offers community workshops where cancer patients, friends and families come together to create these Gifts of Hope. Local youth camps, school library programming and scholarships are also made available for families affected by cancer.

YPN - Young Parent Network
Young Parent Network was founded in 1985 by community leaders who recognized that there was a lack of support for young families in Cedar Rapids.
