Lenten Project
〰️
Lenten Project 〰️
This Lent, we want to take small steps that make a BIG difference in Tanzania. Our FaithLife community can impact the lives of those who feel forgotten by the rest of the world—all in the name of Jesus.
We would like to bless two communities in Tanzania with wells and build three homes, at an approximate cost of $50,000. Yes, the needs are incredibly large. However, FaithLife has always embraced generosity and giving back what God has given us. By helping one family at a time, we cannot even imagine how the Lord will use our efforts for an even greater purpose.
NEED #1: A Well at St. Peter’s
St. Peter’s is a church plant where a well could help lift a community out of the crushing poverty we witnessed. Many younger families live in this area. It took us 30 minutes to drive to the closest clean water source. With a well, the community can grow crops like corn to sell at the market. With that income, living conditions could be improved.
NEED #2: Homes in Miznero
In the village of Miznero, we met a young single mother who received a simple three room home with a concrete floor. With a roof over her head, she and her children were not only protected from the elements but she was able to start a small sewing business to support her family.
